Epoxy Flooring FAQs
How long does an epoxy floor take to install and cure?
The installation process typically takes 2 to 3 days, largely due to the extensive concrete prep work and curing times between coats. Once the topcoat is applied, the floor can usually handle light foot traffic within 24 hours, and vehicle traffic within 72 hours.
Why do epoxy floors peel, and how do you prevent it?
Epoxy peeling (like "hot tire pickup") is almost always caused by poor surface preparation or moisture issues. We prevent this by mechanically diamond grinding the concrete to open the pores, repairing all cracks, and using industrial-grade primers to ensure a permanent, chemical bond to your floor.
